On February 20, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the President does not have authority under IEEPA to impose these tariffs. CBP is now building a system (CAPE inside ACE) to process refund claims.

Unliquidated, recently liquidated, and fully liquidated entries each require different handling.
Refunds will be sent electronically. Missing banking information can delay or block payment.
IEEPA duties are eligible. Section 232, Section 301, and AD/CVD duties are handled separately.
